Thomas Wolfe said "You can never go home again." Here's hoping he's a big fat liar. For the first time in nearly 2 years we're heading back to our beloved Portland Oregon for 2 all-too-short weeks. I'd love to expound on this a bit more, but the alarm clock goes off in about 5 hours and I've got to get some shut-eye before the flight. There -may- be some blog posts during our time there, but I can't guarantee anything-- our schedule is unbelievably packed, and I still can't see how we're going to squeeze everything-- and everybody-- in. But we'll sure try.

Portland Bound

Have a nice trip. We haven't been back to Detroit since my sister's wedding in December 2007. We *have* seen family and friends, but not in the places where they live.
Our next trip to the Detroit area is in August, and I have my doubts about fitting in all the stuff we would like to do.
